Re: Living near water

Actually we live in front of of a pond also, in the up country of South Carolina, but have no problems with it. It is not damp here, as you would expect ti in Florida, for example, or further South East. How sensitve you are to high moisture in the air depends on your body type and imbalance. A pitta type cannot take damp heat, for example, without feeling very uncomfortable. They high heat and dampness in their body by nature. Vata types, on the other hand, love it because both these qualities are naturally low in their body. Kapha types cannot stand the dampness, but love the warmth. Being in a climate for a long period of time does not hamronize with one's body type can affect the immune system and lead to reactions against particles the moist air contains (for more information about body types see my book The Key to Health and Rejuvenation,ener-chi.com). So if you have a choice, you may take this into consideration when deciding the location for your next move. To reduce your sensitivity and allergy responses, doing liver cleanses may be a good idea (see The Amazing Liver Cleanse).
