Abyanga - To Rinse or Not?

Dear Andreas,

I have begun to do dry skin brushing and Abyanga daily oil massage as suggested in the Key to Health and Rejuvanation. I have very dry skin and am thrilled to finally find something that helps keep my skin from flaking all winter long. Unfortunately, if I shower after the oil massage, I end up with flaky skin by the end of the day. If I brush, shower, and then apply the oil, my skin stays nice and smooth all day. Is it okay to apply the oil after the shower or is it necessary to wash the oil off a bit? I'm a pitta and have been using Sesame oil.

Thank you for all that you do,

Claire
