Hello Glaxony - As you probably know the liver is the hardest working purifer of the body. A good blend of herbs in a parasite cleanse will include ingrediants to help the liver do it's job properly by stimulating the production of bile and which helps the liver get back in shape. Herbs that help the liver in detox include: Barberry - it's berberina alkaloid promotes bile flow; Black-Walnut Hull - is a cholagogue that also stimulates bile flow; Garlic- increases bile production; Fennel - helps the liver function properly; Cayenne - the capsaicin increases liver enzymes to help remove fat deposits in the liver; Ginger - increases bile production; Genatian - increases bile production; Milk Thistle - THE BEST for the LIVER!- it protects the liver from free radical damage, the silymarian in mIlk Thistle stimulates liver protein creation (it causes the liver to create new cell growth to replace damaged cells); Burdock - works the same as Milk Thistle AND it promotes bile flow; Pau D' Arco - neutralizes poisons that are harmful to the liver; Cascara Sagrada - promotes bile flow; Sage - promotes bile flow; Yellow Dock - also a cholagogue, it promotes bile flow and cleanses the liver; Peppermint - promotes bile flow.
The cleanse you choose should include these herbs so that your liver is HELPED in the parasite removal process, NOT thrown into further shock. Milder doses of parasite removing herbs over a 30 day period instead of very strong doses over a short period of time will ease your body into detox mode. Twice per year is fine for parasite removal for you and maybe regular small doses of liver helper herbs in between. I sure hope this helps!
