I would just guess that they are concerned both with the concentrated sweet and the fementation... both would give strength to any struggling critters. Maybe use bragg's aminos instead of soy sauce...???? I know folks do well without altering their diets, but personally i have seen much better results when eating a diet with foods that are on the lower end of the glycemic index. Good luck! Tweet
