We need to see that - yes- the possibility of parasite infection is there even from storebought meats, and even freezing or cooking at normal temperatures isnt going to necessarily kill the parasite.
Cod and alot of freshwater fish are normally caught in freezing waters-- so it stands to reason that alot of parasites adapted over the centuries to survive in freezing temps in fish.
