Re: Does anyone know what kind of worm this was?

This afternoon I passed 2 worms, one was about 2 1/2 inches and the other was about 6 inches. They looked like they had some kind of hairy stuff on them. They were about the size of a pencil (not the lead) a #2 pencil. The 2 1/2 inch one had a hollow, transparent head with blood in it.

I haven't read anyone discribing anything like that.

Can anyone tell me what it was?????
