Strange you should mention Lyme Disease. I am planning to get tested for it as soon as I get my insurance in place, hopefully next month. I know most of my pain is caused by nerve inflammation from this back injury, but even my Chiropractor thinks I may have Fibromyalgia too. I have read that those suffering from long term Lyme Disease can also manifest symptoms of Fibro. Since the tick is the State Insect of Arkansas I have had plenty of bites over the years. I figure it wouldn't hurt to be tested if I can find a doctor who will listen to me. It seems all the doctors around here just want to prescribe pills and send you on your way. I know rural practice can be difficult, but often I think our local doctors are largely owned my the drug companies. But that's another rant and I'll spare you that.
