Re: Do I need to cleanse?
Hi, the first thing I suggest is to get off the Accutane! I have treated several young women who turned to colon cleansing after very bad experiences with accutane. Just do a Google search for accutane and see how many hits you get.
http://www.fda.gov/cder/drug/infopage/accutane/default.htm is a starting point.
It's possible (even likely) that at 18 you don't have the financial means to seek professional natural health treatment, such as from a Naturopathic physician or colon hydrotherapist, but you can definitely afford an enema bag, and I suggest that you get started with periodic cleansing enemas among the first things.
See
http://valerie_cct.tripod.com/enemas.html and
http://www.iquestsight.com/enema.html for information on how to go about doing it.
Needless to say, smoking won't help your complexion, let alone the insides of your lungs, and please try to cut back on the alcohol to an occasional glass of wine with meals, but never as just drinking to get drunk.
I won't tell you to just quit cold turkey on the antidepressants and
Antibiotics because I don't jnow your history, but I do encourage you to get professional counseling on the best way to reduce or eliminate them if at all possible.
You are fortunate to be at an age where you have enought time to reverse any damage your body may have experienced up to now, so don't put off a change of lifestyle for healthier alternatives starting today.
Sincere wishes for your natural health and well being,
Valerie
