Re: "dyssynergia"

This is an extremely interesting posting! I have never heard this term "dyssynergia" before. That's what I like about Curezone: we learn from each other.

Do you remember where this study was done? The figures of 32% reporting physical abuse and 22% sexual abuse are alarming. It's obviously a very serious situation given the very high percentage reporting it adversely affecting their lives.

It does not surprise me that women report this condition more frequently that men. I have seen some studies that show that women suffer from constipation up to 8 times as frequently than men.

I've had many clients who have related the consequences of various bowel regularity problems and how it has negatively affected their lives, from lack of energy, headache, abdominal distress, sexual desires, illness etc., but this is the first I've heard the label of "dyssynergia" applied to it. I think it is a pretty good descriptive term.

I presume when you are taking enemas they are the bag type, and not the chemical disposable Fleets??? Other than enemas which you are doing, I can only suggest lots of healthy foods and adequate nutritious liquid consumption. Have you ever tried Welches Concord grape juice? 100% unsweetend pure grape juice. That always works to help me go when I start to get a bit sluggish.

Thank you for this most informative posting.

Valerie
