Midge, just one caution - don't try a swf if you happen to be severely constipated. If your lower bowel is impacted with waste matter, and all of a sudden you have a rush of salt water needing to exit immediately, you may find yourself with a very uncomfortable, if not painful situation.

If your colon is healthy and not blocked up, then both a swf as well as cleansing enemas can cleanse the colon from rectum to cecum. Again, personal preference plays a large role as to whether you prefer an oral cleanser, or cleansing from below with colonics and enemas.

I suggest you try both and compare the results. You can buy a good enema bag for under $15, or a Fleet or other brand disposable enema bag for under $4.00. You can typically use these disposable bags a dozen or more times before they wear out. I always pack a couple when traveling.

If your pharmacy doesn't stock these as shelf items, they can probably order you one or more and have it in a day or two.
