Re: What can I do get the mucus out without doing an enema?
Hello MommyJoy3, I would encourage you to continue with your weekly enemas for a while longer before making any final decision to discontinue them.
If you are taking the enemas properly, there should be little or no discomfort from them. A weekly enema session is probably one of the healthiest natural assists you can do for yourself, regardless of whatever other programs you may be following.
Here are two web pages I recommend with tips on how to take an safe, effective, and comfortable enema:
http://valerie_cct.tripod.com/enemas.html This is from my web site at
http://valerie_cct.tripod.com/
and the other is also linked on my site and is by Olivia Kappel and is at:

I have a feeling that if if you give your weekly enemas a try for a while longer, and if you take them in a comfortable relaxed position, with the water at the correct temperature (103F at preperation time), and not trying to force too much water in too fast, you may find that a weekly cleansing enema is something to look forward to.
Many people find that taking an enema is a relaxing procedure that relieves stress and afterwards provides a sense of pleasant healthy well being.
Sincerely and with best wishes, Valerie
