I don't know what the rest of her diet is like, but to add probiotics there are a few choices. Yoghurt (if dairy is not a problem) it good. I make popsicles out of them--blend with fruit,or homemade jam. Because they are frozen, it does not need to be so sweet.
Threelac could also be a good alternitive. I used it for a while, for candida. It works well, nice flavor, a child could take it--just too expensive to continue. I am doing well on yoghurt.
