Just to let you know that butter does not contain any trans fatty acids. It is only hydrogenated vegetable oils which produce tfas and the worst is hard margerine. The hyrogenation had to be used to change the molecular structure into a hard fat. Ie "Stork" - if anybody in the uk can remember when this was 1st introduced - I can! My Mother has always said that there is nothing wrong with butter and it's natural. Well my mother's still alive and her cholesterol is ok and I still eat butter and my cholesterol is ok too.
