Re: counter-wise message when do enema means?

Hi cherryrain, you are correct in how to help stimulate a release. Start at the far end of the colon near the cecum. The cecum is at the connecting point between the small and large intestine.

If you take your right thumb and place it on your belly button, and place your little finger on or as close as you can to your hip bone, your cecum is just about in the middle.

Start from there and massage upward along the ascending colon toward your splenic flexure. This is where the ascending colon meets the transverse section of the colon.

Massage from right to left along the transverse colon. If you do this following an enema, you will be able to feel (and hear the gurgling) of any remaing solution. This is helpful in that it allows you to mentally "map" the outline of your own colon.

Next comes the splenic flexure at the junction between the transverse colon on the left of your body. From here you want to massage downward toward your sigmoid and rectum.

A colon therapist can help you with this should you have the opportunity to experience a professionally administered colon hydrotherapy treatment.

Best wishes, Valerie
