Re: questions about colonic irrigation
Was the therapist using an open style gravity type system, or was it a closed pressurized system?
If you eliminated through the speculum through a lighted viewing tube in the machine, and then directly into the plumbing system, it was very likely a closed system. In my professional opinion, a
colonic from a pressurized system generally provides a far more effective cleanse than a gravity flow open one.
Also, did the therapist perform abdominal massage during your treatment? This can help break up hardened fecal waste matter. But it is not uncommon to go for several
colonics before you achieve a good release. The symptoms you are experiencing are likely a result of the toxins that have been stirred up inside, but not yet evacuated.
If you are comfortable with your therapist, I would encourage you to stick with it for a while. You may also find relief from gentle cleansing enemas at home on days in between your appointments.
Best wishes, Valerie
