Dietery advice while on the colonix programme
Hi everyone,
Just came across this forum today and I've come across the the odd post where the DrNatura colonix programmes has been mentioned.
I currently suffer from a mild form of IBS and have red all the information on DrNatura. I'm pretty much intrigued by the colonix internal and thought serioulsy about giving it a go. Now, the only thing I'm still trying to get my head arouind it what food is allowable on the programme. They claim you don't have to do a full on detox diet but, what can i get away with eating?
I know nothing with whit flavour should be eaten. However, could i eat such things as granery bread? wholemeal pasta and brown rice?
Is any dairy allowed? I'm thinking of cheese and eggs only. If I can eat these on the colonix, they'd have to be the organic type I'm sure. I think fried eggs are out, lol. HOwever, I'm assuming eggs boiled and poached are fine for this?
I know that the key thing is to eat a lot of fruit and veg, nuts and seeds. However, I assume that any snack in a health food store, that has salt in as part of the ingredience must be avoided? i thinking of things like sesame seed sticks for example.
Any advice would be great really. I'm assuming that i must avoid "all" frozen food in a packet where ever it comes from.
Basically, if you've done the programme youselves, can you share any dietary tips with my please? That would be just great! That would make it easier for me to take on this programme. i am keen to do though, not just for the IBS but, for whatever else i may get out of this.
thanks so much for any advice given.
