I understand! This is the first cleanse I have ever done as well, and it's been a learning experience for sure! I must say, the program didn't really "kick in" for me until about a week and a 1/2-two weeks after I started. I was one of the people that experienced some discomfort (bloating, etc), but then once it kicked in and I figured out the tea, it's been fine. They send lots of directions, and I've found that emailing their customer service department has been helpful.
