Scared to bowel cleanse! Help!

I've been really wanting to do a Bowel Cleanse but after having seen the pictures (of ropes and things), I am very scared to do one! Can someone tell me what comes out when you do a bowel cleanse? I thought mucoid plaque came out but after having seen those photos it looks as if all your intestines come out!!! They really freaked me out. Anyways, that's not going to stop me from attempting to bowel cleanse. I was thinking of doing the p and b shakes to cleanse. Will this work? Is this a form of bowel cleanse? If so, do I have to do an enema as well? I heard that if you do p and b shakes, you have to do an enema afterwards. And also, do they hurt?!?! After seeing what comes outta there when bowel cleansing, it looks as if your insides were ripped out of you! Sorry for all the questions, I just don't want to hurt myself, I want to make sure that this is a safe procedure. Thanks! Tweet
