I was told the probiotics really help with the effects of the detox feelings you get nausea, headaches, etc. I haven't taken them and I do get some bad detox symptoms so it's up to you. From some stuff I read the stuff in yogurt isn't strong enough you actually need to by the stuff in the bottle to get past the strong acids in your stomach. I heard those acids kill off the good bacteria before it gets to your intestines so it doesn't really do anything. Don't know how true that is but that's what I heard.
