After I had a gall bladder attack I was scared of food. What I ate that really did seem to help me was boiled chicken (I let it cool and skimmed off the fat) and mung beans. Red radishes, at least two big ones a day. I also ate a lot of green salad, using olive oil as a base for dressing. I got off all red meat, off all fat except the olive oil.....I did not eat anything fried at all. I also cut out white flour and white Sugar and dairy products. I eat any kind of fruit that I want. I did not feel deprived and I had no further attacks. I managed to not have gall bladder surgery. I have done seven Liver Flushes since then passing hundreds of stones. I would not touch mayo. I still have not and do not plan to and I love it, but to me it is just not worth the risk! I have tried to eat small amounts of tuna fish...plain.
