H202 tastes bad because?

H20 is water. 2 parts hydrogen, 1 part oxygen.

H202 is Hydrogen Peroxide, 2 parts hydrogen, 2 parts oxygen.

So if hydrogen peroxide only has an extra part oxygen in it, then why does it taste so bad? What is the substance in it that makes it taste like it does?

If I have made any mistakes then can someone correct them please.
