In my youth I had Tourette's Syndrome, hepatitis, and a unique form of viral pneumonia. I got over these by the age seven. I developed fatigue and allergies during my early teen years, but mostly it was just hay fever and lack of energy. In my later teenage years I developed bad acne, depression, anxiety, and mild OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). I took lots of Antibiotics , antidepressants, and my diet was pretty bad (lots of pizza, pasta, mountain dew, and beer).
About six years ago I decided to try to get better. I tried peroxide therapy and parasite herbs and a liver cleanse, but they didn't seem to help. They only made me feel worse. However, shortly after I stopped them, I noticed my depression, anxiety, and OCD were gone! At the time, I thought it was because of the antidepressants I was taking, but in retrospect, it could have been the other therapies I was doing. It makes since that they would have made me feel worse while I was doing them (I would have been detoxing), but then improved shortly after. I no longer needed to take any antidepressants.
I still didn't feel completely healthy however so I decided to change my diet. I adopted a raw frutarian diet(nothing but raw fruit), and lots of fasting. I went through a lot of detox while doing this, but it left me very skinny (120lb at 6foot 2!!) after six months. I started to suffer from symptoms of Tourette's Syndrome and I began to acquire food allergies , fatigue, an over-active sense of smell, insomnia, and some fibromyalgia symptoms. Over the last few years, my symptoms continued to get worse, and I developed food allergies to everything, full-blown MCS, fatigue, joint pain, etc. In retrospect, while the fruit diet was good for detox, it was deficient in nutrition, and it probably wrecked my immune system.
About a year ago I decided to get serious and do as much research as I could about my condition. I found that the symptoms I suffer are the same as the related conditions CFS/MCS/Fibro/GWS, and that doctors are finding that these conditions all have an infectious cause along with immuune system impairment (an impairment of the Th1 cytokine response which is what defends against microbes, while also causing an overactive Th2 cytokine response which is what causes allergies). Interestingly most other chronic diseases show many of the same symptoms and immune system imbalance. For example, AIDS, Lyme, Lupus, MS, Autism, etc, etc.
I've come to believe that all these diseases (and most others) are infectious in nature, even the ones that Science hasn't figured out the cause for yet. In livestock medicine it's well known that most animal diseases are due to parasites, bacteria, viruses, etc, and that many of their symptoms closely match human symptoms. Is it really that big of a leap to say that these symptoms in humans are also due to infections, even if the actual microbe(s) haven't been discovered yet? Science just recently discovered a microbe associated with MS! They used to think ulcers were caused by stress, now they know it's due to a bacteria (H. Pylori)! What other diseases have infectious causes that Science hasn't discovered yet?
Peroxide or ozone therapy will kill all pathogenic organisms of all kinds, the charcoal will soak up the dead organisms and their toxins. (According to some, the toxins released by the germs are one of the major causes of the immune suppression and allergic symptoms). So far, it seems to be working for me... I'll keep you posted.
