Poison antidotes?
I have read somewhere that activated charcoal is commonly used in hospital emergency rooms to detox people that have been accidentally (or otherwise) poisoned. Is this true? How is it used to do this? Does it work on it's own or is it used in conjunction with other antidotal medicines?
