coffee kombucha tea

Hello!
I have been making kombucha tea and love it. My Dad wondered if I could make coffee kombucha. So I have tried it twice. I doesn't make a very thick mushroom but everyone liked the coffee tea. I was wondering if anyone has made it. I used organic/decaf. I hope there wouldn't be any bad properties in the tea while brewing?
