Pet Urine Odor Eliminator

I hope this simple recipe will reach someone who was as desperate as I was. It is very simple. It may be doubled, or quadrupled, if you need more solution. It works on rugs, wood floors, and furniture.

WARNING - DO NOT STORE THIS . Make it and use it. IT WILL EXPLODE if stored in a closed container.

1 cup hydrogen peroxide
1 tsp baking soda
1 squirt liquid hand soap

Mix ingredients in a glass or plastic container for one minute. Soak down the stinky area - get it really wet. Let it dry naturally.

If you are trying to deodorize a urine-soaked carpeted area, you will have to put down enough solution to reach the floor underneath. You may need more than one treatment.

I have never had it alter the color of anything, but test first to make sure.

This is also excellent for cleaning refrigerators and microwaves - anywhere you want to eliminate odors and germs.

I used this formula to deodorize a carpeted room that had basically been used as a urinal by several cats. It really works.

Good luck!
