Re: Making Your Own Tinctures Plus

Hi Tom and all, I just made my new echinacea extract (angustifolia and purpurea) anyways I strained it through a nylon strainer, probably should strain it again through the coffee filter, but it came out really strong. I tasted it this morning and I mean just tasted a really little bit. Then I got this rash type thing on my legs, didnt even itch just went red, Look kinda funny, lol. The red lasted about 15 minutes too. It finally went away but it was the first time that has ever happened after I have taken echinacea tincture. I got a bad cold a few months back after about 3 years of not suffering from these confounded things, but I took about 3-5 tsp. of echinacea tincture in orange juice through out the day, every day for about 5 days and had never had any reaction before. This batch was stronger than the one I had before, it was quite bitter and dark. But I was wondering why I would react like that, I imagine its a good thing though. Anyways Dr.Schulze Jr. if you have any extra pointers I would so appreciate it 'em. Take care all, Elaina
