Re: Weird P&B Shakes Problem - Part 2

Ah, Crohn's... not fun. If you're bleeding, stop fiber altogether for 3 days.

Aloe vera juice, 1/2 cup 3x a day is wonderful for Crohn's, as is Liquid Chlorophyll. Both of these can be drunk or used in enema solutions.

Crohn's people are usually allergic to carageenen and many other phony foods like MSG, nitrites , nitrates , or strong acids like tomato sauce. Avoid avoid. Also avoid anything really cold, NO iced drinks EVER. You need warming foods like hot cereal, preferably no wheat. Lundburgh's Brown Rice Cereal is very tasty, almond particularly. :) You can find it in a health store easily enough. and Bob's REd Mill has a non-wheat version or two of hot cereal.

You need to take in fiber at the same time every day, very regular meals, so that your colon is always in the same shape, if you see what I mean. It needs to be doing something regularly, smoothly, NO huge meals, just frequent small ones.

Colosan works faster at getting rid of impacted fecal matter, yes, but after a bottle of Colosan you have to continue on with fiber to restore complete bowel function.

Good luck! :)
