Before you write off EFT completely let's reason together. How do addictions start?
We are usually trying to deal with pain and begin to use something habitually. The allergy issue is a bit more complex but is also tied in to emotions or the brain if you want to be more scientific. Allergies work in a similar way they in that they are all tied in to the nervous system. many times you can easily remove an allergy just by tapping on the meridians and connecting with the allergen. This sounds way out there i'm sure but it really does work. I am a very practical person. The only reason I tried EFT was because I was desperate with panic/anxiety attacks that would not go away. The only thing that removed them and got at the root of them was EFT. I'm not sure I understand why you would be hesitant to try something that has the potential to benefit you tremendously. As it has many others. Also allergies and addictions are not a "fault" or character flaw. It's just the way we humans deal and react to things in life. The brain is incredibly powerful in controlling all of our systemic functions. If you can get the brain going in the right direction you can do some awesome things. The CES machines work but are not as direct because they don't involve get you actively working on the issue, instead you are passive in the process. I hope you will try EFT at no cost to you just to say you tried it. If it works you win in many ways. If it doesn't nothing has been lost.
