I don't understand it either but perhaps it is not in the genes. At the risk of sounding like a nut, it could be in the energy field of the fish or snails or whatever the environmental pressures are exerting on the life form.

Stephen Daniel of Quantum Techniques talked about several interesting studies in a video I saw. One study was about two identical pregnant rats in two different environments. One rat was well taken care of and under as little stress as possible. The other rat was in a highly stressful environment. Someone (whoever it was) had X rays down of the fetuses during this time. The fetus of the rat in high stressful conditions had a smaller developed brain with larger muscles. The way I understood it was that the female rats were sending messages to their unborn fetuses. The stressed out rat was telling the unborn one to be ready to run and fight after you are born.

If were are indeed sending energy signals to our unborn children, it is interesting to consider what are we telling them relative to the environments were are living in. Could we be preconditioning the behavior of our children before they are born?

Scientists one thought we had over 100,000 genes in our genome to explain our behavior. The actual amount is 34,000 genes. I believe the answer for our diversity is within our energy fields. I personaly belief that our soul or our spirit is also involved.
