Re: Hatred?.....
As a footnote to Johnny's fantastic post I would like to say that Christians go around this world preaching the gospel and trying to convert anyone they can to think like they do. They did it in Afganistan, we all remember the NGO's who were arrested prior to 911, they got off free but the afgani's certainly didnt. Thats sick. They knew full well what would happen if they started sprouting their gospel and indeed it did. I know of no other religion that destoys culture and other traditional long held beliefs than Christinanity. I never met one Hindu, Muslim, Buddist Sikh, Jain or Parsi and more who tried to convert me to what they believed in. If i were asked and replied in the negative, their response was "as you like" Now hows that for tolerance? I was up in North Thailand about a month ago on the Lao border staying in a H'mong village who are animists and there was a man there who was from their village but now lives in France and has converted to Christinanity and was there trying to convert everyone to his beliefs. And you know how he tried? Offering money, clothes, building materials, anything tht he could think of to convert them. That is pure and simple deceitful manipulation, offering people who have nothing and all they want to do is educate their children, and feed their families. So thats how they do it. They care nothing for anyone's else's thoughts only for their zealous beliefs that there only can be one god in the world. By the way, how I found out about this was from a small boy who got bored of the town meeting with this guy jabbering and came to the house i was at. I told this child to not believe what he had to say and to believe whatever he wants and not be pursuaded. I can only hope he will. Johnny is right, I have never seen anyone of these religions going from place to place pretending to be helpful and kind and trying to make them convert under bribery circumstances. Never
