Re: Your questions....

Hope you don't mind me intruding...but I'd just like to say that mixed salad is the best...As for the American dream...I'm white and have a menial job. Is there a point to that? Except that it wasn't the true Christians that implemented racial division and or slavery. It was man and religion that implemented. Many black slaves were Christians, and very on fire for Jesus Christ.

Now a days, I think it is all a mixed pot, yes of course there are racial issues - but it is also a two way street. You have to work darn hard to rise to the top and make good money no matter what your race. You have to give your job 200% otherwise you get overlooked. You also can't let your life get in the way of your job...and I'm sorry to say that isn't just directed at minority races but absolutely everyone. I don't like it, and I don't participate. I work at my menial job, but my family, friends and enjoyments come first.

The main point of Christianity isn't fundamentalism but Love, and love and acceptance for anyone and everyone. Loving your neighbour enough to share Jesus Christ and your faith with them, sharing your food, and what ever they lack but you have. Love, by the means of true friendship loving someone for who they are not what they do.

I know this just looks like scripture but this is how a Christian should live, and this is how the true Christians should stand out in the world.

1 John 2:3-6
And how can we be sure that we belong to him? By obeying his commandments. If someone says, "I belong to God," but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person is a liar and does not live in the truth. But those who obey God's word really do love him. That is the way to know whether or not we live in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Christ did.

Of course Christ is perfect and you will always find fault with anyone, that is human nature. But, as a rule and guidline this how Christians should be, in accordance with the rest of God's Word, specifically the New Testament. One rule of thumb is if a Christian is living in Christ and striving to meet this command they will not be hateful, bitter, or resentful - as there is no need...but that is another issue.

What part of the UK are you in JV?
