ZEN vs BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY, Comparison!!

Trapper,
You seem to be confused as what Jesus Christ represents. Perhaps, you need to bring some of your ideas to Christin debate forum. This is a Biblical Support forum.
I've been into Zen and Buddhism. I learned one thing or two.
In today's churches, apostasy is growing with help of influence from Eastern religions. Lack of discerment is a big problem with Church today. True Biblical Christianity is being replaced by new 'Christian' religion, religion of TOLERANCE. Anything goes, if it is sounds Christian (love and compassion), it must be Christian. Mainly it comes from ignorance and not knowing Scriptures. Jesus warned us about doctrines of demons, ear-tickling false prophets and teachers, apostasy in the last days, etc.
These days, many churches begin to practice 'Christian Yoga', contemplative Christianity, etc... Many current 'Holy spirit revivals' are also not biblical but demonic in nature. (noises, convultions, blacking out, miraculous signs, etc)..
Compare today's church to a frog that is slowly being boiled in a water. Deception is so subtle.. you gotta stay in the Word and study.

Here is some information on Zen and other Eastern religions, and how they compare to Christian believes.

WHAT BIBLE SAYS ABOUT FAITH, MEDITATION, REALITY,etc

There is one God. He is a personal, eternal God Who has revealed Himself through Christ and in the Bible. (Is. 45:5, 46:9; Luke 22: 67-70; John 1)

God is distinct from His creation. He is everywhere but not in everything or a part of everything. (Gen. 1; Job 38:4-41)

There is absolute truth and absolute reality. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.” (John 14:6)

There is evil and good. (Gen. 3; John 3:19-21)

God created us as individuals with unique identities. Our identity and self is real. (Genesis 1; Ps. 139:13-16; Matthew 10:29-31)

Truth is based on God’s word, not on experience. (2 Tim. 3: 16,17)

We live only one life; we do not reincarnate. (Heb. 9:27)

Our salvation is in Christ only. (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Colossians 1: 13,14)
