I agree...I think his heart is in the right place and it is probably a very worthwhile mission trip...but, I think he can more than afford to pay his own way - but if that is not the case, then I might be inclined to help support it. If, however, that is the case, then I know of many families that live on the mission field and depend 100% on contributions to survive that I would rather give my money to.
