Re: A heart that's hurt and lost

The hope you speak of and seek is found in our precious Saviour Jesus Christ.

When all else seems lost, just put your focus on Christ. Pray and fellowship with God. I understand that sometimes it feels like a one sided conversation. But the Bible tells us God will never leave us or forsake us! He is always there waiting for us, and loves us so much that He sacrificed His perfect Son so all of us could have the choice to be reconciled to Him!

When you think of that, there is no disputing God's Love for us.

So strive to take your focus off the world events, off yourself and focus on Jesus, live for Jesus - Love like Jesus.

This is a song by Chris Rice. It's really simple, but absolutely amazing. I love it!

Weak and wounded sinner,
Lost and left to die,
O, raise your head for Love is passing by,

Come to Jesus,
Come to Jesus,
Come to Jesus and live,

Now your burden's lifted,
And carried far away,
And precious blood has washed away the stain... so

Sing to Jesus ,
Sing to Jesus ,
Sing to Jesus and live,

And like a newborn baby,
Don't be afraid to crawl,
And remember when you walk sometimes we fall... so

Fall on Jesus,
Fall on Jesus,
Fall on Jesus and live,

Sometimes the way is lonely,
And steep and filled with pain,
So if your sky is dark and pours the rain... then

Cry to Jesus,
Cry to Jesus,
Cry to Jesus and live,

O, and when the love splills over,
And music fills the night,
And when you can't contain your joy inside... then

Dance for Jesus,
Dance for Jesus,
Dance for Jesus and live!

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. Romans 8:26-27
