Root canals and MS

Further to my first message. After reading many stories I have decided not to have a root filling. Because of my MS which after 7 yrs of not being able to work, am now a p/t book-keeper and p/t dog walker. Even if it was only a 1% chance of the root canal causing poison entering the bloodstream, I'm not willing to take the risk of the MS flaring up again.

The problem now is what to do - replace the crown with another filling, which is where all the trouble started (having a crown put on) while the tooth was still hurting or an extraction?

If I have an extraction what are the pros and cons relating to the MS and do I have something put in it's place? The tooth is 2nd frm bottom right so wouldn't be on show much. Also in Britain the cost of dental charges are going to rise and this is another factor. I couldn't afford all the work many people have incurred whith problems associated with RCs. Better to get rid of the pain and lessen the risk of MS flaring up.

Any comments much appreciated.
