Only Jesus was nailed to the cross, not Mary. Mary WAS declared a blessed woman, but there were many people mentioned in scripture that weren't given any special dispensations. I was a Catholic and realized that a lot of what is taught sounds like a "fairy tale" on purpose, because that is what the human race finds attractive. Jesus Christ doesn't need any help to forgive our sins. The word "coredemptrix" is a modern word (politically correct) and did not exist when I was a Catholic. Religions and their beliefs change with the times in order to reflect the values of the people, God does not change (Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever). Many misbeliefs (not just Catholic) are made to sound "fanciful" in order for satan to be able to mislead us, but God gave us a verse to always remember so that we will not always be misled by these fanciful tales-Isaiah 1:18 "Come, let us REASON together", NOTE: it does not say "be LOGICAL". Logic is limited by rules, REASON allows the use of wisdom [from God].
