Neuropathy after dental clean-up...Crazy with Pain....

I went to a biological dentist over 2 wks ago and had 4 cavitations 4 root canals, and 5 Amalgams cleaned up. To make a long story short; i was diagnosed with post-surgical neuropathy after suffering excruciating pain for about 10 days. The pain frequently goes beyond manageable so i'm not able to work a full day.
Does anyone know of ANYTHING that might give relief? The codeine pain killer that was prescribed gives too many side effects. All other pain relievers i've tried (Xtra strenth Tylenol, Aceteminophen, etc.) either aggravate the pain or don't work at all.
I have found limited relief from using Traumeel ointment and tablets; made by Heel, Inc.
If anyone reading this has been unfortunate enough to get neuropathy from dental work; pls can you share your experience?? Anything would be helpful.........the pain is unbearable!!!!!!!!!!
