I noticed that you considered your post to be inflammatory. I realize that non-christians might sometimes feel that they will not be well recieved on this forum, but we are Christians and welcome the opportunity to speak with any reasonable person, especially if they are willing to consider the possibility that God exists. There is a popular saying that "There is a first time for everything". I've heard that saying all my life,...and from the most godless people you could imagine. That saying is true for everything in life, but people choose to ignore that fact when it comes to the question of whether a Creator exists. The Creator (God) IS the first time for everything. All of His creative work is GOOD (any evil that exists in the world comes from us humans,we make wars, not God). God wants us to be able to return to Him when we die and leave this earth, but saw that, without His help, we were unable to return because we were bound by the law of perfection and are IMPERFECT. So, He sent His Son Jesus to rescue us (that's what salvation means). We don't use the word "Purification" to describe the gift of eternal life because we don't actually become perfect, just forgiven and freed from the law. This is why it is said that Jesus brought us "freedom".
