When anyone has a complaint about what someone else says, there is nothing wrong with personal confrontation (instead of the e-mail behind someone's back). There are more than six billion people on this earth and we probably ALL disagree on many things in different ways based on our upbringing, day to day experiences, education, past sufferings, etc. Disagreement does not mean hatred. Disagreement is the only way to learn conviction in your heart (assuming that LEARNING is the objective, if not, what is the objective?...Indoctrination) unless you go to a school and let yourself be indoctrinated. This is not the "Agreement Forum", this forum is for people who have the courage to explore knowledge and seek the TRUTH. Christianity is not for the "faint-hearted" and those who cannot withstand disagreement. There is no way around it, NOBODY can learn "heartfelt conviction" without being challenged. The complaints mean that "Error" is starting to lose credibility and is in danger of being exposed as falsehood. We are to walk as (1 John 1:5 God is light) children of light, Ephesians 5:9 "...for the fruit of light is found in everything that is good and right and true". There will be conflicts of OUR (each individuals) understanding in many bible verses, but my understanding is that it is better not to let the Lord's beloved perish than to be "everyone's nice guy". Whenever we declare someone's complaint about hearing the truth "VALID", we become an impediment to their salvation and satan has accomplished his objective. Tweet
