Re: God sent an evil spirit to Saul (?)

this reminds me that sometimes people blame god for the bad things that happen in their lives. if god is allowing evil to come about, that evil most likely has authority because of sin. but it was not god who sinned. also, this gives a clue as to the operation of the spiritual world: god is using the sinful demons to bring about a change in the sinful human. so the evil the demons hope to accomplish is used to accomplish god's will. and for the sinfulness of humans resulting in condemnation, god brings about purification, humility, and obedience (if the person begins to accept that god is getting his attention for him/her to obey). the spiritual operation we can see is as follows:
Romans 8
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
