Root Canal FRONT TOOTH HELP!!!

Hello:

I have been reading up on doing a full inner body cleanse. I had to pause on dental clean up to further read about it.
I read about root canals.

I am 28 years old. I had a root canal about 3 - 4 years ago. My tooth died due to a sports related injury. (Headbutt) It was in my very front tooth.
The dentist drilled through the tooth and removed the nerve then patched it up with a tooth colored cement.

Aside from the tooth being darker than its neighbors, I am not experiencing any obvious problems from it.
My Dental Hygene is not immaculate. (Which is changing immediately.)
I will admit I have not been to a dentist in a few years.
$$$ IS AN ISSUE.

Here are my questions and concerns:

Do I have to have the tooth pulled in order to follow the inner cleansing protocol?
Do I have to have the tooth pulled?

Since it is a front tooth are there any safe and HEALTHY ways to replace the tooth?
I really do not want a gap in the front.

I have read in the past posts no one really answered the question. They all just say, "PULL THE TOOTH!" and leave it at that.
There is a difference when it is a front tooth.

ANY info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
