I was in my previous church for more than ten years. I still believe that they were spirit-filled (for the most part). Unfotunately, each individual has different experiences and points of view, limits and understandings. Some people are more heavenly good than earthly good and understand more about loving God only in heaven than how to treat the brethren properly (We are the brotherhood of God). In all that time, there was one acting pastor that actually said from the pulpit..."It is a shame how some of the brethren treat each other". I tend not to be as diplomatic as other people think I should over be this issue, not just because I am from a dysfunctional family and consider the families mistreatment of each other "the ultimate betrayal", but because they are my Lord's beloved. Even with the command to be gentle with the brethren (I AM being gentle), my defense of the brethren is out of love. I was surprised back there by your post, but I also realized that it was unlike you, so I just thought that you might have had a hard day. My only real concern was how Anonymous would have reacted (especially since I consider sincerity to be precious). There was no disdain in what I said, I was just trying to clear up any misunderstanding that might have resulted from Anonymous's reaction. So, there are no hard feelings.
