Re: Why is this?

Sorry nooley. Sometimes I think I attract all the defensive people in the world. When I wrote the post, I was recovering from an attack. But anyway, you know the answer to the question of how people do what they do, in this case, I'm talking about spreading the word of God. It actually bothers me that Christians are ALWAYS thought of as Christians and it is very conveniently disregarded that we are also HUMAN BEINGS. This is actually one of my pet peeves, my family doesn't treat me like a person, they treat me like a Christian (only a Christian). It's not the fact that they hate Christians that makes that it so bad, it's that they refuse to understand that I am a loving, human being. If they did, then they might be able to see that I am not so bad to have around instead of only pretending to actually like my company. Listen to me, I'm complaining and whining because I'm a HUMAN BEING. I don't unload this on everybody, I never really said this to anyone, but I think that now it is easier to understand that, just like all people all over the world, there is good and bad in every group of people. I'm not making excuses for their bad behavior, I'm just saying that the reason people can't understand is that they'd rather not treat us as human beings (individuals) and are convinced that we are some sort of army that is briefed every morning on the world's latest complaints. What I mean to say is that I understand your complaint, in fact, this is not the first time I've heard something like that, but if I am held to answer for what they do, that is not fair of you. The truth is, it is wrong of those people to become a pest, but I can't be there to explain that to them. Since I am not there, it is not my fault what they do. Please treat them like human beings and explain to them your feelings. If you really treat them like the human being that THEY are, I believe that they will understand and appreciate being addressed as "people" instead of scorned and dehumanized.
