Re: Someone's treatment after a bad HIDA scan

Yes we all have to make our own decisions. It was just that this is the only post I have noticed in 2 and half years that referred to the HIDA scan and someone posted a result.
I always hear about all the stones that people get out. I never got that many and I still feel that they are talking mainly about cholesterol stones. My liver and gallbladder are clean now in the last 3-4 flushes after 2 and a half years, but I feel only because I gave up all my prescription drugs in October'04 (3 anti-depressants, high bloodpressure, cholesterol, HRT). I still have a 1" calcified gallstone, that Andreas calls a sleeper. Someday it might come out or dissolve, but at least I have no gallbladder problems anymore and I am healthier than ever before in my life.
