Re: Pain after surgery, common?

Hi There,

Some people may still experience pain after GB surgery. Can you pinpoint when it occurs? Does it happen at a common time? Could still be a stone in the bile duct that was there from before the surgery, this happens sometimes. Ask them to do another ultrasound. I have a dull pain in that general area too, sometimes. I haven't been able to pinpoint what it's from yet, but I know that it doesn't even come close to the pain from having a GB attack like before I had surgery! Thank god. Could be that things are still healing, but if the pain is bad enough, I would say your body knows best and keep pursuing it with the Dr's. It may be something unrelated to the gallbladder.

Good Luck!
SM :)
