I went into the hospital at 9:30 a.m. on 04-21-05 to have a "hida scan" test. The test revealed I had a abnormal gallbladder. My surgeon had me stay at the hospital and scheduled me for a "lap" surgery at 2:15 p.m. the same day. I was VERY scared and did not know what to expect. They took me to my room around 5:00 p.m. and I went home around 7:00 p.m. I feel I am doing quite well. I have been taking things very slow and resting. I am so glad and happy I was able to find a excellent and caring surgeon and it is behind me now. Thanks to everyone who responded to my earlier email about being so terrified of this operation. The support was very much needed.
