Re: 6 yr old: ENLARGED TONSILS/ADENOIDS-glands or lymph problem?
Hi, my six yr old told me "I need to eat only fruit for a while." I asked why and he stated that he felt a fever coming.
Two days later I was up with him early because sure enough he became feverish. I put him in the tub to relax and asked him about his bathroom habits during the prior week. I ascertained he was sluggish earlier in the week and constipated the past few days. I feel it is important to know my children's bowel habits as well as teach them to have awareness.
While he relaxed i told him that I knew of something that might bring more relief, I asked him if he wanted relief "Yes" I explained how his bowels were congested and asked if he wanted that stuff out "Yes" I explained the enema procedure would put water in and rinse everything out and asked if he wanted that "Yes"
Procedure: I have a red enema bag from walgreens, I half filled with distilled water and warmed up about 2 cups to take the chill off 1/2 tsp of baking soda was added along with equal
Sea Salt .
I explained he might feel some pressure from gas but to do his breathing exercises and they would subside. I told him to stay relaxed but if he felt the water wanted to come out to clamp the muscles. This first enema was retained maybe 8 minutes and I applied it while he was lying on his right side in several
inches of warm water in the tub. He had no problems and no accidents so for the second application I felt comfortable with him taking it in the forward bend position while standing.
The second one used the same slightly warmed water with a 1 cup portion of homemade kefir. He retained about 10 minutes and felt better immediately and slept for a day.
If you use capsules you can take several and mix them in slightly warm water, or mix yogurt, kefir or whatever. use this after a cleansing enema. The probiotic retention can just be a cup or so of liquid after the first one so it can be retained, it can even be left to absorb.
