Good on you for being in tune with your pH and for having concern about your health and diet. In order to test pH accurately, however, you need to differentiate between saliva pH (any time of day), urine pH (in the morning) and urine pH (in the evening). Saliva must be tested either first thing upon rising or two hours after eating or drinking anything; and urine pH, to be most accurate, must be tested upon the first pee in the morning (after 5 AM) and upon the last pee at night.
Chances are, if you adhere to these guidelines and test yourself and your brother both morning and evening a couple of times a week, you'll notice a difference between your pH and his. But be forwarned: Burger King types are usually extremely difficult to pin down when it comes to anything that has to do with eating, peeing, and the discipline of timing something (like a pH test) around those two events.
