A SALIVA pH between 6.4 - 6.8 (any time of day), a URINE pH between 6.0 - 6.5 (in the morning) and a URINE pH between 6.5 - 7.5 (in the evening) is generally considered by most sources to be healthy. Anything below this is, of course, too acid -- anything above, too alkaline. An acid condition forces the body to borrow minerals (calcium, sodium, postassium, magneium, etc.) from bones and vital organs. A too alkaline pH also has its own set of risks.
