I agree. And the Depression forums and nearly all others!

thanks for all the info in your posts. Since the acid/alkaline debate began there has been a lot of confusion regarding the stomach's role and how to accurately "measure" the results of treatment/dietary changes. and others dispute how effective solutions/coral calcium/tums/arm&hammer actually are regarding making us more alkaline when we are overly acidic.

I don't know all the details of the most current research, but for me personally switching to a mostly 'alkaline' diet and giving up coffee/soda, Sugar and wheat/grains completely transformed my state of health and well being. I rarely get sick anymore and when I do it is usually the result of an overly acidic period of living.

So, do you agree with Price that some of the 70/30 diet must come from animal fat? Does an omega-3 supplement cover that part for the non meat eaters?
